FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should we start planning?

+

We recommend 8-12 months for most programs, though we have successfully designed programs in as few as 4 months. The earlier we start, the more options we have for securing top venues and experts.

What is included in a typical program budget?

+

Our budgets are fully itemized and typically include: lodging, ground transportation, meals, expert session fees, site visit admissions, travel insurance, and on-ground coordination. International airfare can be included or managed separately.

How do you select local experts?

+

Our experts are academics, professionals, and cultural specialists vetted through a rigorous process including credential verification, interview, and past participant feedback. Many are professors, researchers, or practitioners with deep local expertise.

What happens with unused funds?

+

100% of unused program funds are returned to the institution. We provide a full financial reconciliation after every program with receipts and documentation.

Can you work with our existing study abroad office?

+

Absolutely. We regularly partner with university study abroad offices, Global Education departments, and risk management teams. We can adapt to your institution's existing processes and systems.

What if a student has accessibility needs?

+

We conduct accessibility assessments for all program venues and accommodations. We work closely with faculty and university disability services to ensure programs are as inclusive as possible.
