Institutional Partnership

A partner, not a vendor.

We build long-term relationships with institutions that share our commitment to rigorous, transformative global education. Our partnership model is designed to grow with you — from a single pilot to a signature portfolio of programs.

Partnership Model

How partnerships evolve

Most institutions start with one program. Within three years, they have a portfolio.

Year 1

Foundation

Launch your first program with full Knomadic support. We handle all logistics, compliance, and on-ground coordination while learning your institution's specific requirements, approval processes, and risk protocols.

What This Looks Like

  • Dedicated partnership manager assigned
  • Complete compliance and risk documentation
  • Post-program outcomes report delivered
  • Debrief and planning session for Year 2
Year 2

Expansion

Add new destinations, disciplines, or faculty. With institutional knowledge from Year 1, onboarding is faster, budgets are tighter, and programs are more ambitious.

What This Looks Like

  • Streamlined approval process (templates pre-approved)
  • Cross-disciplinary program options
  • New destination development based on faculty interest
  • Preferred pricing on multi-program commitments
Year 3+

Portfolio

Your institution has a signature portfolio of global programs. Students and faculty know Knomadic as the go-to partner. Enrollment grows, outcomes compound, and programs become part of your institutional identity.

What This Looks Like

  • Annual program portfolio review and strategic planning
  • Alumni engagement and mentorship integration
  • Co-branded marketing materials
  • Priority access to new destinations and expert networks

Partner Benefits

What institutional partners receive

Beyond program execution — strategic support that makes your study abroad office more effective.

Volume pricing

Multi-program commitments receive preferred rates. No hidden fees. Surplus funds returned 100%.

Streamlined renewals

Year 2+ programs skip redundant paperwork. Templates, contacts, and compliance docs carry forward.

Priority support

Partners get a dedicated account manager, priority scheduling for peak travel seasons, and first access to new destinations.

Strategic alignment

Annual partnership reviews to align programs with evolving institutional goals, accreditation cycles, and student demand.

Getting Started

Onboarding a new institution

From introductory meeting to program launch in as few as 8 weeks.

01

Introductory meeting

We meet with your study abroad office, relevant faculty, and risk management team to understand your institutional landscape — approval workflows, insurance requirements, student demographics, and strategic goals.

02

Needs assessment

We identify which departments, faculty, and student populations are best suited for a pilot program. We map existing study abroad gaps and propose destinations that align with institutional priorities.

03

Pilot program design

We co-design a first program with a faculty champion. This includes a full itinerary, itemized budget, risk assessment, learning outcomes framework, and all compliance documentation.

04

Internal review support

We provide materials formatted for your institutional committees — budget justifications, insurance certificates, risk matrices, and program proposals ready for review.

05

Launch

Student recruitment, pre-departure orientation, program execution, and post-program evaluation. We deliver a comprehensive outcomes report to support future program proposals.
